Using the Library

Student Responsibilities

Students are expected to treat the library as they would any classroom.

Loan Periods

  • Elementary students: one (1) week.
  • High School students: one (1) month.
Books may be renewed unless they have been requested by another student/teacher. If books are not returned, replacement fees must be paid by the student or his/her final report card will not be issued.

Terms of Use

  • No eating or drinking
  • No video games
  • Use headphones while listening to audio
  • Work quietly

Hours of Operation

  • The library is open from 8am to 3:30pm on weekdays.
  • High school students may visit during recess, at lunch and after-school.
  • All students must have a note from a teacher to visit the library independently during class time.
  • Please be aware that elementary students take priority during their scheduled weekly visits.
